Venues, Manchester City Centre (opposite Piccadilly Gardens)<br \/>\n<strong>Time:<\/strong> 10am \u2013 4pm (registration and breakfast from 9am)<\/p>\n<p>North England HCCs are hosting a joint Sickle Cell, Thalassaemia &amp; Rare Inherited Anaemias Patient Event. Patients, and their nearest and dearest, from across the whole North of England are welcome to attend. In attendance will be consultants, nurses, health experts and community and charity organisations &#8211; all there to provide advice, help and education.<\/p>\n<p>If that wasn\u2019t enough there will be a dedicated kid zone, free raffle and other activities. If all this sounds like thirsty work don\u2019t worry as there will be refreshments throughout the day \u2013 tea, coffee, and biscuits. However, biscuits can\u2019t sustain you for the whole day so that\u2019s why there is a breakfast (between 9:30 \u2013 10:00) and a lunch provided. All for free!<\/p>\n<p>As there will be many patients in attendance it\u2019s a great opportunity to network with friends new and old. Share stories, talk about experiences, build bonds and community links. All whilst enjoying the central Manchester skyline from the 8<sup>th<\/sup> floor.<\/p>\n<p>A full agenda and more details will be shared soon.
