Important Announcement: Sickle Cell Patient Event Postponed<\/span><\/h2>\n

Original Event Date:<\/span><\/strong> Saturday, July 19, 2025 <\/span>Original Venue:<\/span><\/strong> Alder Hey Children’s Hospital, Liverpool<\/span><\/p>\n

We regret to inform our sickle cell patients, their families, and guardians that the <\/span>HCC Sickle Cell Patient Event, scheduled for 19th July, at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital in Liverpool, has been postponed.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

This decision was made due to a recent significant measles outbreak at Alder Hey Hospital. The safety and well-being of our patients, families, and staff are our utmost priority, and this postponement is a necessary precaution to protect everyone involved. <\/span>We understand this news may be disappointing, especially given the exciting agenda we had planned, and we sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. We were truly looking forward to connecting with you and sharing vital information and support.<\/span><\/p>\n

We are actively working to reschedule this event for Autumn 2025 and will share new details as soon as they are confirmed on this website, X (twitter) and via email.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
