The outcome will either be&#8230;[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Everything was fine. The Lung Health Check nurse found nothing further to investigate and you will be discharged from the Lung Health Check Programme. A letter will be sent to you and your GP to inform them.<\/p>\n<p><strong>OR<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We have made a recommendation. You may be referred to your GP or to another NHS team in the community. Please refer to your Lung Health Check results letter.<\/p>\n<p>If you have any further questions please call our screening hub on <a href=\"tel:0161%20291%203587\">0161 291 3587<\/a>\u00a0or email <span style=\"color: #ff2600;\"><a href=\"mailto:Lunghealthcheck@mft.nhs.uk\">Lunghealthcheck@mft.nhs.uk<\/a><\/span>.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Even though you may have been found to be at low risk for lung cancer via your Lung Health Check, it is still important to contact your GP if you are experiencing any concerning symptoms.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you have any of the below symptoms or are concerned about your lung health please contact your GP:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Persistent cough that lasts three weeks or more<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Breathlessness<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Repeat chest infections<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Chest and\/or shoulder pain<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Loss of appetite and\/or unexplained weight loss<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Change in a long term cough, or a cough that gets worse<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Coughing up blood<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Unexplained fatigue or lack of energy<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hoarseness<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Finger clubbing<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Blood clots<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]<\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text] You didn\u2019t qualify for a CT scan as the outcome of your Lung Health Check [\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]You should have already had the results or your Lung Health Check.
