CALLplus

CALLplus is a local charity providing emotional support and home-based practical help to people with cancer and other life-limiting illnesses, along with those closest to them, such as family, friends and carers.

We can offer someone to talk to confidentially about cancer, along with home visits, social events and practical assistance, for example help with shopping, as well as support at hospital appointments.

CALLplus works in the Greater Manchester area. Our services are delivered by specially trained volunteers who are managed by a team of professional staff. CALLplus has offices in North and South Manchester, Salford and Trafford. Our staff and volunteers are friendly, approachable and ready to listen to your concerns whether you are living with a life-limiting illness yourself or are in a caring role.

So, if you have cancer, a heart or respiratory condition or have had a stroke, or are caring for someone with one of these conditions, or have a family member or close friend who has been diagnosed with one, find out more about these services:

Telephone: 0845 123 23 29     Messages may be left if the line is engaged.

CALLplus staff may be very busy out in the community so it is not always possible to take all calls in person, but be assured if a message and contact details are left someone will be in touch to discuss your concerns and requirements as soon as possible.
