    \n Please note the entrances for the Emergency Department (ED) and Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC)<\/a> at MRI have now moved across the site to make way for the redevelopment of MRI\u2019s ED \u2013 known as Project RED.\n<\/div>\n[\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=””]Manchester Royal Eye Hospital, Manchester Royal Infirmary, Royal Manchester Children\u2019s Hospital, St Mary\u2019s Hospital and University Dental Hospital of Manchester are all part of our Oxford Road Campus hospitals within close proximity of the city centre. <\/span><\/p>\n

    We strongly recommend using active travel or public transport to get to any of our Oxford Road Campus hospitals. Our hospitals are in dense urban locations where roads are busy, and parking is often oversubscribed. All our hospitals are served by public transport and other community and sustainable transport options.<\/span><\/p>\n

    For information about public transport services please contact\u00a0Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) on 0161 244 1000. Their lines are open between 7.00 am and 8.00 pm on Monday to Friday, and from 8.00 am to 8.00 pm on weekends and bank holidays, <\/span>you can also visit their website<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Walk<\/h2>\n

    Walking is an excellent, low cost, way to get some exercise into a busy schedule. Whether you\u2019re walking the whole way, to a bus stop, Metrolink or train station, the steps add up.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Our Oxford Road Campus hospitals are very well connected to the rest of the city. Walking at an average pace, it is about a 30 minute walk from Manchester Piccadilly, or 20 minutes from Manchester Oxford Road Station.<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column]\n \n \n <\/svg>Top<\/span>\n<\/a>\n[\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row el_id=”cycle”][vc_column][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

    We have cycle racks to lock your bike up outside all our Oxford Road Campus hospitals. Please note, all users leave their bikes at their own risk and the Trust is not liable for stolen or damaged bikes.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Bus<\/h2>\n

    Our Oxford Road Campus hospitals are very well served by buses.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Within the hospital campus, there are bus stops on The Boulevard, which has both the 18 bus service to Langley and the Vantage V1 and V2 to Leigh and Atherton. Please click <\/span>here for live departures<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

    A number of bus routes from across Manchester stop directly outside the Hospital on Oxford Road with buses every few minutes.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Our nearest railway stations are Manchester Oxford Road, and Manchester Piccadilly. Both are a short walk, cycle, or bus ride from the Oxford Road Campus hospitals.<\/span><\/p>\n

    As a city centre location on one of the busiest roads in the region, parking can be in high demand at our main site so please allow time to find a space when you arrive. Car parking for patients and visitors at our Oxford Road Campus hospitals is located in one of our two multi-storey car parks located at either Grafton Street or Hathersage Road. Each of these car parks provide parking for patient, visitor and staff car parking and operates a pay on foot system where customers make their payment for parking on exiting the car park.<\/span><\/p>\n
