    \n We strongly recommend using active travel or public transport to get to Manchester Royal Infirmary, which is part of our Oxford Road Campus. Our hospital is in a dense urban location where roads are busy, and parking is often oversubscribed. Our Oxford Road Campus is well served by many bus routes and other community and sustainable transport options.\n<\/p>\n[vc_column_text css=””]For information about public transport services, please contact Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) on 0161 244 1000.     Walk<\/h2>\n

    Walking is an excellent, low-cost way to get some exercise into a busy schedule. Whether you\u2019re walking the whole way, to a bus stop, Metrolink or train station, the steps add up.<\/p>\n

    Manchester Royal Infirmary is very well connected to the rest of the city. Walking at an average pace, it is about a 30-minute walk from Manchester Piccadilly, or 20 minutes from Manchester Oxford Road Station.<\/p>\n

    Bus<\/h2>\n

    Manchester Royal Infirmary is very well served by buses.<\/p>\n

    Within the Oxford Road Campus, there are bus stops on The Boulevard. These stops serve the 18 bus service to Langley and the Vantage V1 and V2 to Leigh and Atherton.<\/p>\n

    A number of bus routes from across Manchester stop directly outside our campus on Oxford Road, with buses every few minutes.<\/p>\n

    Train<\/h2>\n

    Our nearest railway stations are Manchester Oxford Road and Manchester Piccadilly. Both are a short walk, cycle, or bus ride from Manchester Royal Infirmary.<\/p>\n

    As a city centre location on one of the busiest roads in the region, parking can be in high demand at our Oxford Road Campus, so please allow time to find a space when you arrive.     We have a small number of electric vehicle charging points for public use in our car parks.<\/p>\n

    There are four sockets on the ground floor of the Grafton Street car park, which use the Mer platform.<\/p>\n

    Specialist Requirements<\/h4>\n

    If you have any accessibility enquiries or special requirements such as help with visual impairment, hearing, language, or communication matters, please ask a member of staff for assistance or contact the Patient Advice & Liaison Service (PALS)<\/a>. The PALS team can provide information about NHS services and other sources of help such as Citizen\u2019s Advice Bureau and support you through an anxious time. They also give a voice to patients\u2019 issues, help to identify gaps in services and report to the Trust Board.<\/p>\n

    Travel vouchers<\/h4>\n

    Travel vouchers are for people who are not able to use ordinary buses, trains or Metrolink and have serious walking difficulties or are registered blind.
