Professor Cheryl Lenney OBE

Cheryl is the professional lead and is accountable for Nursing and Midwifery on the Board of Directors. The Chief Nurse is also the Director of Infection Prevention and Control and the Executive lead for safeguarding. Cheryl has over 35 years’ experience as a nurse and a midwife. She has worked for Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust and its predecessor organisations since 2002. Cheryl is a registered nurse and registered midwife and has a masters in health service management. She has held a number of clinical and managerial roles and is a visiting professor for nursing leadership at Manchester Metropolitan University and Honorary Clinical Chair (MAHSC) nursing, midwifery and allied health professions leadership.
