Professor Dame Sue Bailey OBE DBE
Sue Bailey lives and works in Manchester. After studying medicine and psychiatry at the University of Manchester, Sue worked as a Child and Adolescent psychiatrist for over thirty years. Through subsequent roles as President of the Royal College of Psychiatrists and past Chair of the Academy of Medical Royal Colleges, Sue’s national health policy and research work has focused on how to improve health care delivery through education and training of practitioners to help them understand the unique circumstances of every patient. That is why she feels so privileged to be part of Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust that will bring better care to all whatever their circumstances.
