Plaster Room

Welcome to the Trafford Hospitals Plaster Room Service. We provide services from the application of basic casts to more advanced casting, splinting procedures and the provision of basic soft orthotic goods related to fracture treatment management.

Admission

We treat patients referred from the Urgent Care Centre Orthopaedic/Fracture Clinic, Orthopaedic Unit and other wards.

Location

The plaster room is located at the Greater Manchester Surgical Centre building of Trafford General Hospital. We also provide services from Altrincham General Hospital.

Hours

Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays: 8.30am – 5.00pm Tuesdays: 8.30am – 11.30am and then at Altrincham General Hospital from 1.30pm – 5:00 pm Fridays – 9:00am – 3:00 pm
