Our hospital is in a suburban location where roads are often busy, and parking is oversubscribed. Trafford General Hospital is served by many bus routes and other community and sustainable transport options.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Walking is an excellent, low cost, way to get some exercise into a busy schedule. Whether you\u2019re walking the whole way, to a bus stop, Metrolink or train station, the steps add up.     Trafford General Hospital is well served by buses.<\/span><\/p>\n

    A number of bus routes stop directly outside the Hospital on Moorside Road with buses every few minutes.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Train<\/h2>\n

    The nearest railway stations are Chassen Road, and Urmston. Both are a short walk or cycle from the hospital. Chassen Road only has a small number of services during the day. Urmston has around four trains per hour on the Liverpool-Manchester line.<\/span><\/p>\n

    The nearest tram stop is at the Trafford Centre on the \u2018red\u2019 line of the Metrolink. This is approximately a two mile walk from Trafford General Hospital, or a twenty minute bus ride.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Electric Vehicle Charging<\/span><\/u><\/p>\n

    We have a small number of electric vehicle charging points for public use in our car parks.<\/span><\/p>\n

    There are two \u2018fast charging\u2019 sockets in Car Park A (located <\/span>here<\/span><\/a>, and there is also a rapid charger close to Entrance 6 on the northern side of the hospital (located <\/span>here<\/span><\/a>). These chargers are on the Be.EV network, and the current tariffs are 46p per kWh for members or 49p per kWh for non-members<\/span><\/p>\n
