This will free up construction areas and tackle the ongoing parking issues faced by our staff, patients and visitors. We\u2019ll keep disruption a minimum so please bear with us as we deliver your fantastic new hospital and healthcare facilities.<\/p>\n<p>Safety hoardings will be installed in some of our car parks, so please allow extra time to park on site from Monday 28<sup>th<\/sup> February. If you don\u2019t need to drive to the site while the work is ongoing, there\u2019s a range of public transport options on our <a href=\"https:\/\/mft.nhs.uk\/north-manchester-general-hospital\/patients-visitors\/getting-here\/\">Getting Here page<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3>Car Park Number:<\/h3>\n<p>Public Car Park 3<\/p>\n<h3>What&#8217;s changing?<\/h3>\n<p>Site construction safety hoardings are being installed. This means the number of parking spaces will be reduced.<\/p>\n<h3>Alternative parking<\/h3>\n<p>For patients and visitors, 56 additional parking spaces are being provided in the <strong>Overflow Patient and Visitors Car Park 3A,<\/strong> next to the Energy Centre.<\/p>\n<p>New signage will direct patients and visitors to this car park once Car Park 3 is full. There is a convenient and accessible route to all areas of the hospital form this car park.<\/p>\n<p>Disabled parking bays in Car Park 3 will remain open \u2013 they are not affected by the safety hoardings installation.<\/p>\n<p>Parking charges will continue to apply for patients and visitors.<\/p>\n<p>During the construction work, please:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Park in marked bays and follow the safe pedestrian routes to your destination.<\/li>\n<li>Do not park across yellow hatched areas, access gates, emergency entrances or in the drop-off zone.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]<\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=&#8221;513&#8243; img_size=&#8221;Full&#8221;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]The first step in delivering this exciting vision is to build a Multi-Storey Car Park and Cycle Hub.
