The new Resuscitation (resus) area went live as part of phase two of the project.<\/p>\n<p>The new six-bed area is situated across the corridor from the existing resus in a newly refurbished area.\u00a0Overall, this \u00a317million expansion project is doubling the size of Wythenshawe Hospital\u2019s ED unit, ensuring it can continue to provide high quality emergency care for patients across South Manchester, Trafford and beyond.
