First Ever CDA-I UK Event hosted by Congenital Anaemia Network

The first ever event in the UK specifically run for those with CDA-I (congenital dyserythropoietic anaemia-I.) CAN have organised a weekend conference on 6^th-7^th May 2023 for CDA-I patients and their families. This will take place at the Park Plaza Hotel Leeds, Boar Lane City Square, Leeds, LS1 5NS. This will be free for all participants to attend the conference including food and accommodation (nights of the 5^th and 6^th May). On a case-by-case basis CAN may also be able to provide support for travel expenses. Families with children of all ages are very much welcome. Sessions taking place at the conference include:

• Management of fatigue
• Management of  diet
• Updates on the latest research happening in CDA-I
• An opportunity for patients to directly influence future research
• Opportunity for patients and their families to socialise and forge new friendships
