The upcoming Eid festival, taking place at the British Muslim Heritage Centre, will have a stand with thalassaemia information. There will be a private room at the venue for a quick and free screening blood test for thalassaemia - you may want to share this with family and friends if they are interested in getting a test. In attendance will be staff from the NHS and members of the UK Thalassaemia Society who will be able to advise and support. See this poster for more details.
