Andy has been a Nurse for over 30 years. A Haematology Specialist Nurse specialising in Leukemia research for the first 23 years and then became a transfusion practitioner. In 2012, Andy became the first Adults Haemoglobinopathy Clinical Nurse Specialist in Liverpool. In 2021, Andy retired and returned to work alongside Jessica Bradbury, Clinical Nurse Specialist.
