Dr Beki James has worked for many years as a Consultant Paediatric Haematologist at Leeds Children’s Hospital. In addition, Dr James is the Secretary of the paediatric group of the British Society for Bone Marrow Transport and is a leading member of the myLIFE team, looking at a range of impacts of chronic blood disorders including educational and socio-economic impacts, as well as health and PROMs.

Data and evidence-based medicine is an important interest to Dr James, who uses it to improve the care and treatment of patients.
