Dr Josh Wright is a Consultant Haematologist at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals and is Lead Clinician for the North East and Yorkshire HCC.
His first post as a consultant was at City Hospital Birmingham and he also worked in Jamaica for a number of years whilst in training. He has held posts as the Chair of the Laboratory Subgroup of the NHS Sickle and Thalassaemia screening programme, one of the lead clinicians for the WMQRS Haemoglobinopathy peer review programme and worked with UK NEQAS as a Specialist advisor. He is currently Vice President of the British Society of Haematology.
