HCC Thalassaemia and RIA Clinical Lead / Adult Haematology Consultant

Dr Nandini Sadasivam has been a haematology consultant since 2017. After the formation of the Haemoglobinopathy Coordinating Centres (HCCs), in 2019, she was appointed as the Thalassaemia and Rare Inherited Anaemia (RIA) Clinical Lead for the North of England. In addition to this role, Dr Sadasivam is a principal investigator for thalassaemia and RIA trials in Manchester, a steering committee member in the NHR and educational lead with the NW BAPIO.
As Clinical Lead Dr Sadasivam is passionate about improving the care provided to sickle cell, thalassaemia and RIA patients across the Northern region.
