Sobia Khan is a Haemoglobinopathy Genetic Counsellor at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. With a specialised focus on long-term blood conditions, Sobia provides vital support to patients and families navigating the complexities of inherited disorders such as Sickle Cell and Thalassaemia.

She is a recognised leader in her field, recently winning the Brilliant Bradford Award (2025) for her exceptional dedication to patient care. Sobia is deeply committed to patient advocacy and was instrumental in the development of the new transfusion service at the Eccleshill NHS centre, where she led listening events to ensure the clinical space was designed around the specific needs and well-being of the community.
