Our People

I have been a specialist nurse in haemoglobinopathies for 21 years now, working as the lead nurse at Manchester Children’s for 17 years and now at Alder Hey for the past 4 years. I take the lead in transition, helping our young adults prepare for adult life and equipping them with the skills to become independent and knowledgeable on their health condition. My own interests are jigsaws, reading and mainly holidaying for which I have acquired the nickname “Judith Chalmers”!
