Cancellation of the Birmingham Family UKTS Conference 2024
Unfortunately, the event being held by UK Thalassaemia Society (UKTS) has been cancelled. UKTS stated that the event will hopefully be rescheduled in Spring 2025.
It was being held in Birmingham but attendance wasn’t limited to those from the West Midlands so we thought we would share this info just in case anyone from the NW region was attending. Some of the topics on the day were going to be presented by clinicians in the North – who should have been contacted directly. The cancellation could not be helped and UKTS have asked us to pass on their apologies.
In the interim, UKTS would be happy to continue hearing from everyone on possible topics and discussions.
