  • Fortrea Webinar – Recording Available Now!

The recent Fortrea webinar was a great success, with fantastic attendance from patients interested in the latest developments for managing transfusion-dependent thalassaemia and sickle cell iron overload.

The session focused on the clinical study for the investigational drug Petadeferitrin and provided a unique opportunity to hear directly from the experts involved.

What to Do Next

As a reminder, viewing this webinar is simply a chance for you to stay informed – there is absolutely no pressure or obligation to join the study.

However, if you watched the recording and are interested in learning more about the clinical trial, please contact one of the organisers of the study:

  • Dr Jim Bush, Fortrea (Clinical Lead) – jim.bush@fortrea.com
  • Mike Ravenscroft, Fortrea (Study Manager) – michael.ravenscroft@fortrea.com
  • Charlene Hyde, MFT Research Team – NMH.Trials@mft.nhs.uk

Charlene is the primary NHS contact for this study and will facilitate communication with Dr Quentin Hill and the Leeds Hospital team, who also serve as key study organisers.

For added support and guidance, the clinicians at Manchester Royal Infirmary remain available to discuss this study and provide advice.
