Biography

Dr. Kenneth Ma is a consultant Gynaecologist specialising in pelvic pain, endometriosis, early pregnancy and emergency gynaecology and gynaecological ultrasound. He is one of the named surgeons in the Northwest Pelvic Pain and Endometriosis Centre here in Manchester and was clinical lead for early pregnancy and emergency gynaecology at Manchester Foundation Trust between 2017 to 2022.

He qualified from the University of Edinburgh in 2007 and started specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Wessex Deanery in 2009. He was nationally selected to undergo further training in advanced laparoscopic surgery at the North West pelvic pain and endometriosis centre in Manchester Foundation Trust in 2014. He was appointed as a substantive consultant gynaecologist in 2017.

Dr. Ma’s publications include papers on advanced laparoscopic surgical techniques and management of unusual presentations of ectopic pregnancies.
