Biography

Dr Seif is the Lead Gynaecologist for the Reproductive Endocrinology Clinic and Lead Consultant for the Multi-disciplinary Menopause Service, which was founded on a team approach to managing menopausal health – particularly in women with serious co-morbidity.

Dr Seif gained his PhD from Manchester University (1989) on biology of the endometrium. He is a lead clinician for major clinical trials such as UKCTOCS.  He was a Member of Councils of the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists (2000-06), and has been a member of the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Health Care since 2005.  He is a member of various professional societies, including the Editorial Board of the Cochrane Collaboration in menstrual disorder and sub-fertility group, which provides foundation for evidence based practice in this specialty.
