Biography
Andrew graduated from Edinburgh Medical School in 2010 and has undertaken his general ophthalmic training in the North West deanery. After completing his general training, he has undertaken additional subspecialist training fellowships in corneal, external eye disease and refractive surgery at Manchester Royal Eye Hospital and following this, at Queen Victoria Hospital, East Grinstead, both renowned ophthalmic units.
During this time he has developed an interest in teaching and training, undertaking a specialist year in medical education. He is also actively involved in research projects, having published his work in peer reviewed journals and presenting the outcomes at various national and international conferences.
He is proud to be part of one of the best eye hospitals in the world, and he strives to be able to provide the best care possible to the patients of Manchester and beyond.
