Biography

Ms Sadia is an accomplished Ophthalmology consultant at Manchester Royal Eye hospital. She has special interest in pediatric ophthalmology, strabismus, and adult cataracts. Ms Sadia joined Manchester Royal Eye Hospital in 2015.

Ms Sadia graduated from University of Punjab, Pakistan, in 2003. She completed her post graduate ophthalmology training in the Mayo Hospital, a prestigious University Hospital in Lahore in 2012. She then completed a dedicated 2 year fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology at Mayo Hospital, with expertise in congenital cataract surgery, congenital glaucoma, retinoblastoma and strabismus.

She has continued interest in medical education. She is enjoying her role as pediatric ophthalmology editor for INSPIRE, a new online learning platform by the Royal College of Ophthalmology, London. She actively participates in departmental and regional training. She is also lead for MREH Pharmacy sub committee.

She is active on global platform and participates in post graduate ophthalmology teaching in Pakistan.
