Biography

Mr Elghazawy graduated in Egypt. He completed his higher specialist surgical training in the Middle East and at hospitals in the North West of England. Mr Elghazawy joined Trafford in March 1991 as an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist. He developed his sub-specialty interest and expertise in urogynaecology and pelvic floor dysfunction as well as in colposcopy. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and a member of the Arab Board Council of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. He is also a member of the British Society of Urogynaecology, International Urogynaecology Association, International Continence Society-UK and the British Society of Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology. He treats patients of all ages in all aspects of general gynaecological problems and cervical pathology. His special interest is in treating all cases of pelvic floor dysfunction – mainly female urinary incontinence and female genital prolapse – with the ability to provide the most up-to-date surgical options. Regular audits of Mr Elghazawy’s surgical results have been consistently comparable with the best national and international results.
