Physiotherapists attend multidisciplinary meetings on all wards Monday to Friday. They will either identify patients who require physiotherapy themselves at these meetings or the medical and nursing staff on the ward will make a referral to physiotherapy.
Referrals for cardiac rehabilitation are accepted from a variety of health professionals including cardiologists, cardiac nurses and GPs.
Referrals to other physiotherapy out-patient services are accepted from MFT Consultants.
