Dr Muhammad Saif graduated from King Edward Medical College, Lahore and completed his haematology specialist training in Manchester. He then consolidated his transplant experience as a transplant fellow at Manchester Royal Infirmary and undertook his MD with the Stem Cell & Neurotherapies group at the University of Manchester. During this he developed quantitative and qualitative immune assay to predict therapeutic failure in metabolic diseases and studied the role of stem cell transplantation in immune tolerance. Dr Saif joined Salford Royal Foundation Trust as a Consultant in 2013 and moved to MFT as a consultant in stem cell transplantation. He has authored and co-authored many publications including manuscripts and books chapters and presented at many scientific congresses.
