Biography

Originally from Northern Ireland, Dr Crea attended medical school at Oxford University where he undertook an intercalated degree achieving a BA in medical sciences with a specialist interest in genes and development. He subsequently qualified from medical school in 2009 and worked as a junior doctor in various locations in England achieving MRCP in 2015. Chose to pursue a career in haematology within the Manchester area and achieved FRCP membership in 2021. He took up a consultant post at MRI in 2021 with the aim of pursuing a specialist interest in plasma cell dyscrasia’s and their management.
