Biography
Amer Shoaib is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Manchester Royal Infirmary, Trafford General Hospital and Altrincham Hospital. His practice centres around foot and ankle surgery from bunions to ankle arthritis. He uses keyhole surgery for bunions, ankle pain and Achilles tendon injuries. He also deals with complicated limb injuries and deformities with circular frame external fixators. Amer served with the Royal Army Medical Corps in Bosnia, and has treated casualties in four wars, as well as responding to the Haiti earthquake. He runs a medical charity called Orthocycle and also runs courses on foot and ankle surgery and external fixation.
