Biography

Mr Mani trained in London, Cambridge, and Manchester. He is a nationally recognised expert in head and neck surgery and the cancer clinical lead at Manchester foundation trust.

He has undertaken advanced surgical training at the world-renowned Memorial Sloan Kettering Hospital, New York, USA. His practice covers all aspects of head and neck surgery, and he is experienced in open surgery for sinonasal and orbital tumours involving the skull base. During his time in training, he undertook a two-year period of full-time research at the Christie hospital and was awarded a doctorate in cancer biology. He is well published with ongoing research interests and has presented his work internationally.

He has a number of national roles and has authored UK clinical management guidelines and major textbooks. He teaches nationally on instructional surgical courses and is the lead surgical trainer for head and neck fellows in Manchester.

He is well known for his interpersonal skills with patients and colleagues and works collaboratively with other specialists to ensure optimal outcomes.
