Biography

Appointed to MRI in 1990 as Senior Lecturer, currently full time Consultant Surgeon, and Clinical Manager for Transplant Services. Have overseen the development of pancreatic and islet transplantation at CMMC, and did first ever Manchester pancreas transplant in 1992. Formerly member of Council of British Transplantation Society. Secretary to the Transplant Surgeon’s Chapter. Chairman of Transplant Patient’s Trust of Great Britain.
