Biography

Mr. Sainuddin, initially a dentist in 1993, pursued a 3-year Master’s Degree in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in India. Observing challenges in reconstructive care for head and neck cancer patients, he realised the need for medical training to enhance his skills.

Driven by a vision of comprehensive patient care, he moved to the UK for further training. Starting as a junior trainee at John Radcliffe Hospital, he completed medical training in Cardiff in 2011. His journey included surgical training in South Wales before specialising in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in Manchester.

Achieving Fellowship at the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh, in 2019, he further honed his skills with a fellowship in 3D Planned Facial Reconstruction in Germany. Joining Manchester Royal Infirmary, Mr. Sainuddin primarily focuses on head and neck cancer patients, excelling in reconstructive microvascular work.

With a commitment to excellence, he has published numerous papers and actively contributes to patient-centered care. Passionate about education, he engages in teaching roles at the University of Manchester and Health Education Northwest, providing mentorship to aspiring Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons worldwide.
