Biography
Trained in dentistry in Edinburgh and medicine in Aberdeen. Completing junior Oral & Maxillofacial posts in Edinburgh, Liverpool and Aberdeen: basic surgical training in Aberdeen and Edinburgh and higher surgical training in North East England.
Appointed Consultant to MFT and Wrightington Wigan & Leigh in 2002.
Formerly Training Programme Director OMFS NW Deanery 2010-15, Regional Advisor RCSEd 2009-14.
Currently examiner for MBChB, MFDS, MRCS, FRCS. Faculty for ATLS and Critical Care. OMFS representative for Manchester Trauma Collaboration. Clinical Lead OMFS in MFT 2016, First OMFS Surgeon in England Elected to Council of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh 2016
