Jaya has been a Consultant Paediatric Otolaryngologist at Royal Manchester
Children’s Hospital since 2012. She has a specialist interest and extensive
experience in paediatric ear health and hearing. She is referred children from
across the North West for the surgical management of discharging ears as a
result of cholesteatoma, mastoid surgery and perforated tympanic membranes.
She also has a keen interest in the management of hearing loss in children. In
addition she has a particular interest in the management of patients with
microtia and external ear abnormalities and paediatric facial nerve palsy.
Her research interest includes ear health and hearing loss. She is also the
educational lead for paediatric ENT and surgical tutor at Royal Manchester
Children’s Hospital.
