Biography

Rayaz Malik obtained his BSc. MSc. and MB ChB from the University of Aberdeen and PhD from the University of Manchester. He has consultant responsibility for unselected general acute medicine and a general medical and diabetes outpatient clinic weekly. He was elected as the Chairman of Neurodiab (The neuropathy study group of the European association for the study of diabetes) in October 2009 and was appointed to become a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP) in 2007 and examiner for the MRCP in 2009.
