Biography
Mr Majeed has been working as a Consultant Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgeon at Manchester Foundation Trust since February 2019. His specialist interest includes Foot & Ankle surgery, complex trauma and sports injuries. He completed his higher surgical training in Trauma & Orthopaedics in East and West Midlands followed by BOA national fellowship in Foot & Ankle surgery at Wrightington hospital.
His Foot and Ankle elective practice is based at Trafford General Hospital and comprises of managing a wide range of pathologies including ankle arthritis (ankle fusion and ankle replacement), big toe joint arthritis, bunion surgery, flatfoot and hindfoot deformity correction, ankle arthroscopy, ankle instability and Achilles tendon related disorders. His fracture clinics are based at Manchester Royal Infirmary.
Mr Majeed has a keen interest in clinical research and has widely published in peer-reviewed journals and presented his work at international and national forums. He is actively involved in teaching medical students. He has created an educational website for providing information on Foot & Ankle pathologies and their management.
