Biography

Mrs Craig joined Trafford as a Consultant Colorectal Surgeon in May 2011. She has a special interest in laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery and in pelvic floor work. Mrs Craig qualified as a doctor in Leeds in 1998 and worked there before starting her specialist surgical training. She did her specialist training in Manchester and joined Trafford after six months in Rotherham where she had a clinical fellowship in laparoscopic colorectal surgery. It was a welcome return to Trafford for Mrs Craig – she first worked here in 1984 as a medical laboratory scientific officer in the Pathology department before starting her medical training.
