Important Notice

At Saint Mary’s Hospital we are pleased to be working with Dragonfly Film & Television filming an upcoming documentary series for Channel 4. 

The series intends to show a comprehensive and varied picture of life within a maternity and neo-natal unit focusing on the highs and lows of real births as we follow the experiences of both parents and hospital staff as they welcome new life into the world.  

Filming is planned from the end of May to the end of July 2026. We are informing expecting parents through the MyMFT app.  

Please note, there is absolutely no obligation for anyone due to give birth with us at Saint Mary’s Hospital to take part in this series. If you prefer not to be filmed, your care and birth experience will not be affected in any way. Dragonfly will only film those who give full informed consent, and the welfare of all our contributors is paramount. Filming will always be carried out sensitively, with respect for your privacy, dignity, and comfort, and appropriate duty of care measures will be put in place to help support the welfare of those contributors.
