Biography
Dr Carl Lane qualified from St. George’s Hospital Medical School, London, in 2008. He undertook his junior (resident) medical training in London and the South East. Following this he relocated to the North where he completed higher specialist training in hepatology, gastroenterology and general (internal) medicine within the Yorkshire region. His advanced hepatology and transplant training was at Sheffield and the Leeds Liver Unit (St. James’s University Hospital), leading to sub-specialty accreditation in hepatology.
He was appointed as Consultant Hepatologist at Manchester Royal Infirmary in 2020.
