Biography

Dr Ruzicka studied Medicine and obtained his MD and PhD at Masaryk University in Brno, Czech Republic. He completed specialist cardiology training in Czechia before moving to the UK, where he has worked as a Consultant Cardiologist at Trafford General Hospital since 2007.

Dr Ruzicka provides general cardiology care with a particular interest in cardiac CT, for which he holds specialist accreditation, and the assessment of symptoms including chest pain, breathlessness, palpitations and blackouts. He has extensive experience in the assessment and management of coronary artery disease, atrial fibrillation, valve disease and cardiovascular risk assessment. He works across Trafford General Hospital, Altrincham Hospital, Wythenshawe Hospital and Manchester Royal Infirmary.
