I studied undergraduate medicine at University of Leicester and trained in clinical radiology in Nottingham and Bristol. I am a

thoracic radiologist with over 10-years’ experience at consultant level in tertiary referral centres, performing a wide variety of thoracic interventional procedures as well as cross sectional imaging of multiple differing thoracic pathologies. I have been in post as a consultant at Wythenshawe since 2014. I was previously a consultant in Bristol from 2009 to 2014. I am fully trained in cross sectional cardiac imaging and supported quaternary cardiac services.

I am the joint subspecialty lead for thoracic imaging, with previous experience in trainee management as trust specialist training lead for radiology 2016 to 2018. I support numerous regional MDTs including severe asthma, severe emphysema, interstitial lung disease, mesothelioma, lung cancer and thoracic oncology meetings.
