Biography

Dr Can Hazar is a Consultant Interventional Radiologist at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT), having commenced his consultant post in February 2019.

He graduated from Hacettepe University Medical School in Ankara, Turkey, in 2009. Dr Hazar then relocated to the UK, where he completed his clinical radiology training at the Leeds Radiology Academy in 2019. During his specialist training, he completed an Interventional Radiology fellowship, developing advanced clinical expertise with a focus on vascular intervention.

Furthering his professional credentials, he has held the European Board of Interventional Radiology (EBIR) qualification since 2021 and has been certified as Endovascular Specialist (EBIR-ES) since 2023 by Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiological Society of Europe.
