Biography

Dr Hazem Elshenawy is a Locum Consultant in Acute Medicine and Cardiac Intervention. He graduated in 2003 with a medical degree from Egypt and went on to complete a Master’s degree in Cardiovascular Science, along with full cardiology training in Cairo, completed in 2010. He later obtained an MBA from Massachusetts, USA, in 2015.

Dr Elshenawy further specialised at Manchester Royal Infirmary, completing fellowships in heart failure and cardiac intervention. He has advanced expertise in percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), including primary and complex PCI supported by intravascular imaging.

Dr Elshenawy was appointed as a Locum Consultant in Acute Medicine and Cardiac Intervention In 2025. he is committed to delivering safe, timely, and evidence-based care to his patients within the NHS.
