Biography
Dr King is a respiratory consultant within the tertiary interstitial lung disease service at Wythenshawe Hospital. She was awarded her PhD in 2025 from the University of Manchester, evaluating mechanisms of cough in health and disease and is a postdoctoral Pickering Fellow investigating treatments for cough in interstitial lung disease. She sits on the British Thoracic Society quality standards committee and speciality advisory group for Chronic Cough and in the early career member co-chair for NEUROCOUGH, a pan European network aiming to improve the management of chronic cough.
