Biography
Dr Paul Marsden trained in the NW of England and completed his PhD in the field of cough, asthma and airway inflammation. He is the Lead Clinician of the multidisciplinary Manchester Chronic Cough Service, the largest in the UK, and also the Lancashire and South Cumbria Cough Service, based at the Royal Preston Hospital.
Alongside his clinical work, he is an active researcher and has extensive experience in commercial trials in chronic cough. In addition, he holds several academic research grants, investigating mechanisms and clinical aspects of chronic cough. He most recently contributed to the British Thoracic Society Clinical Statement in Cough. Paul has published in the field of chronic cough and has been an invited national/international conference speaker.
