Biography

Dr Shruti Khurana is a Consultant Respiratory Physician at the North West Lung Centre, Wythenshawe. She is a member of the specialist Severe Asthma Service, one of the largest NHS-accredited severe asthma centres in the United Kingdom and a key contributor to the North West Severe Asthma Network.

Dr Khurana completed her higher specialist training in Respiratory Medicine across the South Yorkshire and North West Deaneries. She obtained her MD from The University of Manchester, undertaking research in airway disease at Wythenshawe Hospital.

Dr. Khurana was appointed as a Consultant Respiratory Physician at Royal Bolton Hospital in 2014, where she worked until 2020 before joining the North West Lung Centre at Wythenshawe Hospital. She is committed to delivering personalized, evidence-based care for patients with complex asthma and difficult-to-control airways disease.
