Biography
Dr Masood trained at King Edward Medical College, Lahore Pakistan and completed postgraduate training in Paediatrics before coming to the UK. He later subsequently undertook neonatal training in Glasgow and Manchester and was appointed as Consultant Neonatologist in 2017.
Dr Masood is actively involved in teaching and the assessment of medical students, specialty trainees, and also teaches on the University of Salford M.Sc Neonatal Medicine course.
Dr Masood actively contributes to collaborative research on NICU and is passionate about providing high-quality evidence-based safe care to sick newborns.
Dr Masood works with a fantastic team of doctors, nurses, and allied health professionals at Saint Mary’s and for him caring for newborns and their families is an immensely satisfying job.
Outside of work, he enjoys running and cycling to keep fit and has three young children. As a family they enjoy exploring the UK and beyond.
