Biography

Ms Ghazal Hodhody is a Consultant Paediatric Orthopaedic Surgeon at Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital, part of Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. She specialises in general paediatric orthopaedics and neuromuscular conditions, with an additional clinical interest in gait disorders.

Ms Hodhody completed her higher surgical training in Trauma and Orthopaedics in Oxford and Manchester before undertaking specialist paediatric orthopaedic fellowships at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital, Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, and Sheffield Children’s Hospital.

She is committed to delivering high-quality, family-centred care and works closely with multidisciplinary teams to optimise outcomes for children and young people. She holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education and has authored book chapters and peer-reviewed publications within paediatric orthopaedics.

Outside of work, she enjoys hockey and is passionate about encouraging children and young people of all abilities to participate in sport and physical activity.
