Biography
I obtained my medical degree in Egypt in 1980. I did my general surgery in Jordan. I was trained in cardiothoracic surgery at The London Chest Hospital [London], Papworth Hospital [Cambridge], Wythenshawe Hospital [Manchester] and the Mayo Clinic in Rochester Minnesota. I did my research in xenotransplantation at Addenbrookes Hospital [Cambridge]. I became a consultant at The Manchester Royal Infirmary at the beginning of 1997.
